Experience unforgettable family events for children of all ages at Cantref Adventure Farm, a family-run adventure farm and farm park in the Brecon Beacons, Powys, South Wales. Hands-on fun, animal encounters, seasonal activities, and exciting adventures await all year.

February Half Term - See lambs being born and learn more about lambing season on the farm plus lots of shows and indoor and outdoor play.
Easter – meet newborn lambs, bottle feed them at Easter, join our Easter Egg Hunt, and meet the Easter Bunny. Perfect for family days out in Brecon, Mid Wales and South Wales.
May Half Term - sees the return of pig racing and special appearances from our friendly dinsoaur.
Summer Fun – enjoy Foam Parties, Big Water Fights, Slip & Slide, and meet our friendly characters, Blue the Dinosaur and Spirit the Unicorn.
October Pumpkin Festival & Halloween – explore the pumpkin patch, take part in Halloween activities and shows, and receive a free pumpkin for every child. A must-visit Halloween event in South Wales.
Christmas Magic – meet Father Christmas, make reindeer food, receive a festive gift, and enjoy our award-winning Christmas experience — one of the best places to see Santa in South Wales and Mid Wales.
Kids’ Daytime New Year’s Eve Party – celebrate safely with fun activities for children of all ages.

Never heard of this place until I saw a tiktok video a few weeks back of someone reviewing it!- all I can say is WOW, me my partner and son had such a lovely day today it's one of the best farms we have been to in the local area and it's only a 40 minute drive away from us ! We will defintly visit again snd will recommend to as many people as we can. Food was good value for the price paid ordering online and recieveinf a 20% discount was a bonus as well we all had food , 4 welsh cakes , and a cookie for just over 30 quid which I thought was very reasonable being on site it's usually alot more. Thank you for a great day we can't wait to come back again

Went for a Full Day ride in the mountains. We had a fantastic time. We wanted something special to show our Australian friend her first visit in Wales and what a way to do it! We had a great time. Our instructor was fantastic and the horses were gorgeous. We were on the 3 brothers and loved them and the day. Highly recommend, will definitely come back. Thank you so much. (We made use of the hats and boots provided too!)

Myself and my daughter have been visiting cantref for years now and we always have a wonderful time. For a family run working farm I think cantref delivers an exceptional day out. The staff are so kind and knowledgeable and really hard working. Sarah is incredible and really cares for all of the animals. All the activities and events are fantastic and Mr Evs show is an absolute firm favourite. I personally feel the animals always look well cared for and happy. I really enjoy the personal family feeling of cantref and I think they do amazingly well to continue competing with larger places. Long live Cantref ❤️
